Le Fil d’Ariane is a workshop for adults
with limited intellectual abilities.
Based on the creative resources of the individual, the workshop helps
the handicapped people achieve personal fulfillement, while
consolidating their social integration through the exploration of
embroidery work.
Education through art helps to develop self awareness and
communication skills via the creation of artwork that
represents an important part of their contribution
to society.
Our rehabilitation and art expression programs offer individuals a
chance to explore their potential while developping their creativity,
and learning new work habits and skills. For example, creating drawings
encourages verbalization, self-expression, and storytelling, and also
provides important information that can be used in creating
personalized developmental programs.
General objectives:
- Develop handicraft skills and
sense of autonomy
- Promote social integration and sense of community
- Sensitize the public to the artistic possibilities
of people with limited intellectual abilities
